About IACC Bocce

The IACC is a member of the United States Bocce Federation and has an organized group that maintains the bocce courts at Orange Memorial Park in South San Francisco. The IACC plans and hosts bocce tournaments throughout the year, the most popular being the annual Italian American Games Bocce Tournament, which was founded in 1986. The IACC also hosts Spring, Summer, and Fall bocce leagues for its members.

"Al Sacco" tournaments, tournaments where members, their families, and friends participate by bringing their own lunches and where teams are picked at random, are also scheduled often on weekends throughout the non-winter months.

THE IACC PREPARES TO REMODEL
THE BOCCE COURTS AT ORANGE PARK

The IACC and the City of South San Francisco are preparing to upgrade and remodel the four uncovered bocce courts at Orange Park. Some improvements include replacing the borders with cement, adding additional lights for night time play, and moving the outside fence to provide more room at the end of the courts. Construction is scheduled to begin shortly and we are hoping to have the project complete in time for spring play to begin in April. The improvements will definitely add to this already growing and integral part of the IACC and Orange Park.
